Children's Ministry

CCC Jakarta Children's Ministry

At CCC, we welcome all children to be part of our church body. We seek to instill a love for God, His Word and His people through all our children’s ministry programs. We encourage children of all ages to be active participants in our worship service each week. We also provide opportunities for children to learn the gospel in age appropriate settings during our Sunday services.

Ages: 0-2
Available throughout the service

We offer a nursery class throughout the whole church service for children ages 0-2 staffed by dedicated childcare givers who are trained and experienced in providing care for our youngest church attenders.

We also supplement our nursery with a short bible story and lesson lead by one of our trained volunteers using Children Desiring God: A Sure Foundation curriculum.

Ages: 3-8
Available during the sermon

For children ages 3-8 we offer two separate children’s church classes during the sermon. During this time children will be dismissed from the service to our children’s ministry area where our trained volunteers will lead the children in a gospel centered bible story, activity, craft and snack.

We utilize a curriculum called Dwell by Faith Alive Christian Resources which invites children to actively participate in a weekly bible story from scripture. This program uses songs, games, story telling, pictures, objects, and scripture memory to help the Bible come alive to our children.

Children above age 8 are encouraged to remain in the service and become active listeners and participants throughout the service. Custom youth sermon note sheets are available from the greeters at the entrance to the church to help provide a guide to the various elements to the service.

At the back of our worship area is a room designed with parents of young children in mind. This room is not staffed but it provides comfortable, private seating for parents of young children who need a break from the main sanctuary. Parents will still be able to hear and see the service from the room while allowing their young child/infant a break from the main service area.
