Wedding

Congratulations on this exciting time of preparation for your upcoming wedding ceremony and marriage! If you wish to have a CCC pastor officiate your wedding, please review the guidelines below and complete and submit the Holy Matrimony form as soon as possible. Please note that considering the size of our church and the total number of pastors on staff, the date you request may already be unavailable and we are unable to officiate your wedding. This is why we advise you to submit the Holy Matrimony form as soon as possible.

Guidelines to help you plan for a wedding with a CCC pastor:

  1. Complete the Holy Matrimony form: If you have confirmed that you are getting married in the next 5-18 months, you can fill out the Holy Matrimony form here so we can review your request.

    • Please note that submission of this Holy Matrimony form is not a confirmation.

    • What you need to know before submitting the Holy Matrimony Form:

      • CCC Elders do not officiate Sunday weddings because they conflict with our Sunday Service schedule.

      • Please wait for our email confirmation of the Officiating Minister’s availability before booking your wedding venue or securing any vendors.

      • One person from the couple must be an active CCC member for 6 months from the installment date.

      • If one of the couples is not a CCC member, one of our Elders will want to schedule a meeting with you before confirming the wedding date.

      • We kindly ask you not to fill out the Holy Matrimony form if your wedding date is more than 1.5 years and less than 3 months from the submission date of your Holy Matrimony request.

  2. Review of your Holy Matrimony Form: Our church administrator and Elders will receive and review your completed Holy Matrimony form and we will contact you with any questions and next steps. Before a pastor can confirm that he can perform the wedding, he may request an initial meeting with the couple. In this session, you can expect the pastor to ask you questions about your Christian faith and the nature of your relationship.

  3. Email confirmation: Once a CCC pastor has been confirmed to officiate your wedding, you will receive an email confirmation.

  4. CCC Wedding Package: The couple will receive CCC Wedding Package via email that will contain all the details they need to know about Holy Matrimony Outline, Holy Matrimony Band, Premarital Counseling, Marriage Certificate Required Docs, etc

  5. Premarital Counseling: Depending on the couple’s background and level of readiness, our Elder will provide at least four counseling sessions with the couple. The Premarital Counseling will begin 3-4 months before your confirmed wedding date. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate counseling sessions earlier than this timeline. Note: Some Elders employ diagnostic tools or surveys to supplement their counseling, which may entail additional costs.

  6. Wedding Venues: Unfortunately, our Sunday Service venue (iNews Tower, 14th Floor) is not available for wedding venues. If the couple wishes to use iNews Tower, 14th Floor as their wedding venue, they must contact the building manager directly for this type of inquiry. If you are getting married in another church, be mindful that certain churches have restrictions concerning officiating pastors so make sure to verify their policies. We do provide a formal permission letter (attached in the CCC Wedding Package) in case the other church requires it from CCC.

  7. Out-of-town Weddings: Some of our pastors and music team will perform out-of-town ceremonies and others will not. Whether the ceremony is in town or not, you should plan to pay for any travel expenses and accommodations, and provide clear directions and the precise address to the wedding facility. (Please understand that an out-of-town wedding is a significant commitment on the part of the pastor and music team).

  8. Holy Matrimony Rehearsal and Wedding Reception: The pastor will generally conduct the Holy Matrimony rehearsal (via Zoom) at the agreed-upon rehearsal time. Regretfully, pastors are not always available to attend wedding rehearsal dinners and receptions. It is our sincere hope that such inability is not taken as an offense.

  9. The Holy Matrimony: Usually a meeting will be required to discuss the actual details of the Holy Matrimony Liturgy & Service. On the day of the Holy Matrimony, plan to have the entire wedding party (The Groom & Bride, The Family of Groom & Bride, and Groomsmen & Bridesmaids) at the venue at least one hour before the Holy Matrimony service starts. Thank you for the opportunity to serve you on this special occasion.

Every couple that would like to get married through CCC will go through the same process, which is displayed in the diagram below:

Note: you will hear max 21 working days from the submission date of your Holy Matrimony Request if all conditions from #1-4 are being fulfilled.
